Before a proposed change can become a live change on the site, it needs to go through the editorial review process. To do this, you need to create what Boundless calls an “Issue.” Issues are ways for us to notify the editors and community of changes and track the progress of those changes.
The first step in creating an issue is to select the type of issue that describes the change you made. This allows others in the community to find your issue and record your proposed change when it goes live on the site.
After you select the issue type, BRIEFLY describe the change you made so that others know what you were trying to do. After that, click the “Create Issue” button and your issue and change will be available for review by the community.
