To get a Boundless book into your moodle class, your LMS administrator will need to perform a one-time installation of the Boundless app. Once that installation has taken place, you'll be able to add in any book and assignments you like! Please submit a support ticket with any questions and we will gladly screenshare with you to help resolve any problems.

At the present time, Boundless is not able to automatically assign courses or adopt books within Moodle. The administrator or educator will need to go to https://www.boundless.com to create a course, adopt a book, and create assignments, and then manually create the LTI links on Moodle. Every course in Moodle should be replicated in Boundless.

*A note on launch container display options - As of Moodle 3.0, there are a number of options for configuring the display of courses to students. These options can be set across the board for an LTI tool at the administrator level, or at the educator level on a per assignment basis, depending upon the needs of the institution.

As an educator, the launch container option (part of the External tool setup) defaults to Default, which will be the default set by your administrator. On devices with smaller displays, you may choose to override this setting if you find that one of the other configuration options better suits the needs of your students for viewing the content at hand. For example, choosing Existing window or New window will display the content (without a Moodle header or breadcrumb menu, thus allowing more room for said content) in the existing window or in a new browser window, respectively.
